Lizzie's Holiday Book & Blanket Drive is an annual event held in honor of our founding daughter, Lizzie, and in remembrance of her first holiday season spent in the NICU. Born 10 weeks premature, Lizzie spent the first 58 days of her life in the NICU, celebrating her first Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's surrounded by monitors, medical equipment, and the incredible nurses and doctors who cared for her. During that difficult season, comfort, hope, and even the smallest acts of kindness meant everything to our family.

Each year, we collect new books and blankets to bring warmth, comfort, and moments of joy to families spending the holidays in the NICU. The drive also provides snacks and refreshments for NICU staff as a small token of appreciation for their tireless care, compassion, and dedication to babies and families during one of the most challenging times of their lives.

Lizzie's Holiday Book & Blanket Drive is our way of transforming a deeply personal journey into a source of hope—sharing comfort, community, and love with NICU families while honoring the healthcare professionals who make a lasting difference every day.

2025 Donations: Thanks to the generosity of our community, donations were delivered to the NICUs at Piedmont Newton, Piedmont Rockdale, and Piedmont Athens Regional, helping bring comfort to babies, families, and the staff who care for them throughout the holiday season.
