Lizzie's Holiday Book and Blanket Drive is an annual event held in honor of our daughter’s birthday and in remembrance of her first days of life spent in the NICU. Lizzie was born prematurely and spent her first 58 days in the NICU—there for the entire holiday season—when comfort, hope, and small acts of kindness meant everything to our family.

Each year, we collect new books and blankets to provide warmth, comfort, and moments of normalcy to families who are currently navigating a NICU stay during the holidays. In addition to supporting families, the drive also includes snacks and refreshments for NICU staff as a small token of gratitude for their tireless care, compassion, and dedication during such a critical time.

Lizzie’s Holiday Book & Blanket Drive is our way of turning a deeply personal journey into a source of hope—bringing comfort, community, and love to families and caregivers during one of the most vulnerable seasons of their lives.

2025 donations were delivered to Piedmont Newton, Piedmont Rockdale and Piedmont Athens Regional NICUs.
